List of reimbursed drugs, is an important part of Service Packages covering the Fund of Compulsory Health Care Insurances for the population. The list of reimbursable drugs aims at improving the quality of service for all patients, particularly for people in need. In this regard, through the new list of drugs, FCHC aims at increasing the attention toward categories such as retirees and patients suffering from serious illnesses.
In compiling the list of drugs there are some scientific criteria which have been taken into consideration, by giving priority to drugs used for severe diseases; diseases of high risk for life; diseases that cause disability; diseases that risk of being spread into the society; diseases that cause much suffering as well as chronic illnesses requiring prolonged treatment.

Furosemid is a diuretic with rapid action. It inhibits the reabsorption of sodium and chloride ions in the proximal and peripheral tubules of the loop of Henle and as a result, sodium, chloride and water excretion is increased. Urinary excretion of potassium, calcium, magnesium and bicarbonates is also enhanced, while urine pH increases.
Furosemid is indicated in:
Furosemid is efficient in the treatment of hypertension, alone or combined with other antihypertensive drugs. Furosemid is a potent diuretic, with a rapid action and is also especially important in patients where other less potent diuretics, like thiazide diuretics, do not function properly.
Solution for injection - (1%) 20 mg/2 ml

Lanatozid C is a cardiac glycoside with positive inotropic effect. Its effects are similar with digoxin. It increases the myocardial contraction strength and decreases myocardial conductivity, especially the conductivity through the AV node.
Lanatozid C exerts positive inotropic effect and negative chronotropic effect.
Approximately 20% of the used dose is inactivated within 24 hours. Its effects disappear after 3 – 6 days. Digoxin is the metabolite of lanatoside C and it is eliminated through urine.
Lanatozid C is indicated in:
Film coated tablets - 10 mg
Lecorin contains the active substance lercanidipine hydrochloride, that is a dihydropyridine calcium-channel blocker with actions similar to those of nifedipine.
Lecorin influences the myocardial cells, the cells within the specialised conducting system of the heart, and the cells of vascular smooth muscle. Thus, myocardial contractility, the formation and propagation of the electrical impulse and coronary or systemic vascular tone may be diminished.
Lecorin is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension.
Film coated tablets - (10 mg + 20 mg)
Tablets - 20 mg
Lisidigal contains the active substance lisinopril, which belongs to a group of medicines called ACE inhibitors. Lisinopril lowers blood pressure and enables relaxation of the heart muscle.
Lisidigal is used in:

Lisidigal HCT is a combination of lisinopril with hydrochlorothiazide. Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor, which lowers blood pressure and relaxes the smooth muscle of the heart. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic which stimulates urination.

Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Angiotensin II is a chemical in your blood that tightens your blood vessels. Losartan blocks this effect causing the blood vessels to relax and so lowers your blood pressure.
Losartan is indicated:
Film coated tablets - 20 mg
Tablets - 250 mg
Tablets - 100 mg
Film coated tablets - 50 mg
Metoprolol belongs to a group of drugs called cardioselective beta-blockers. It reduces cardiac contraction and decreases the heart rate.
Metoprolol is used in:
