Procor contains bisoprolol fumarate as active substance which is a cardioselective beta-blocker.
Bisoprolol is an intrinsic sympathomimetic and has membrane-stabilising properties.
Bisoprolol is given as the fumarate in the management of hypertension and angina pectoris. It is also used as an adjunct to standard therapy in patients with stable chronic heart failure.
