Meprobamat apparently acts at multiple sites in the CNS including thalamus and lymbic system. It also depresses multineuronal spinal reflexes. Meprobamate is a minor tranquilizer with some muscle relaxant and anticonvulsive properties.
Meprobamat tablet – 400 mg is used for the management of anxiety disorders or for the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety.
Oral drops solution – (10.000 UI + 10.000 UI) / ml
Sugar-coated tablets – 10 mg
Film-coated tablets – 400 mg
Film-coated tablets – 600 mg
Solution for injection - (0.1%) 1 mg/1 ml
